Curb appeal is just as important in the winter as it is any other time of the year.

When selling your home in the winter, curb appeal may not be top of mind. Gardens and grass are hidden so the tendency is to not spend much time thinking about the exterior of your home. Curb appeal is just as important in the winter as it is any other time of the year.
Here are a few tips to keep in mind during the winter to give your home that great first impression:
-
Buyers will often view your home at night when it is dark, so make sure your outside lights are working & bright
-
Welcome buyers with a new front door mat
-
Capture the buyer’s heart when they walk up to your front door: Keep your planters filled with beautiful greenery, display a chair or bench on your porch with some wintery pillows, or lanterns
-
Clean your front door, mailbox and windows
-
Shovel your driveway and walkway so buyers know your property is well-maintained.
Making your exterior look as great as your interior will help to attract future buyers.
